Kimberly is an alumna of UCLA, completing a PhD in Germanic Languages with a specialization in Scandinavia in 2016. Her dissertation, titled “Uncovering Performance in Medieval Scandinavia”, explores the neglected field of medieval performance in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway during the late medieval and early modern periods. She also holds an MA in Scandinavian from UCLA as well as a BA in Scandinavian Studies and Theater & Drama from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has worked extensively as a freelance researcher, translator, and editor and is currently teaching English Composition at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
